Creating QR Codes on Linkx.ee

QR codes offer a fast and convenient way to share your content. Whether you want to link to a website, open a message, or connect someone to your app, Linkx.ee lets you create customized QR codes that suit your needs. You can use them on printed materials, product packaging, posters, or even digital promotions.

Here’s how to generate a QR code using Linkx.ee.

Step 1: Go to the QR Codes Section

Log in to your Linkx.ee account and navigate to the QR Codes section in your dashboard.

Step 2: Create a New QR Code

Click the “Create New QR Code” button to get started.

Step 3: Choose the QR Code Type

Select what the QR code will do when someone scans it. Options include:

  • URL – Send users to a website

  • Text – Display a simple message or note

  • Email – Open the default email app with a pre-filled address

  • Phone – Start a phone call to a number you provide

  • SMS – Open the messaging app with a pre-filled message

  • WiFi – Allow users to connect to a WiFi network

  • Application – Link users to an app in the App Store or Google Play

Step 4: Enter the Required Information

Fill out the fields based on the type you selected. For example, a URL requires a valid website address, while a phone code requires a number.

Step 5: Customise Your QR Code

Make your QR code match your brand or campaign by adjusting:

  • Colours – Set the foreground and background colours

  • Logo – If supported in your plan, you can upload a logo that appears in the centre of the code

  • Frame – Add a border or callout around the QR code (available on some plans)

  • Size – Choose the output size based on how you plan to use it

Step 6: Generate and Use Your QR Code

Click the Generate button to create your QR code.
You can then download the file and use it in print, on packaging, or as part of your digital content.

Tips for Using QR Codes

  • Test your QR code before printing or publishing

  • Make sure the contrast is high enough for all phones to scan easily

  • If you include a logo, keep it small enough so it doesn’t block the code

QR codes are a simple but powerful way to help your audience take action without needing to type or search. They work well in both physical and digital settings.
