Tracking QR Code Performance with Analytics
Once your QR codes are live, it’s important to understand how they are performing. Linkx.ee provides detailed analytics for each QR code so you can see who is scanning, when, where, and how often. This data helps you measure the success of a campaign, compare performance across channels, and refine your strategy.
You can access these insights directly from your dashboard.
Step 1: Open QR Code Details
Log in to your Linkx.ee account and navigate to the QR Codes section.
Select the QR code you want to analyse by clicking on its name or icon.
This will take you to the full details page for that code.
Step 2: Explore the Analytics
Each QR code comes with a dedicated analytics panel that includes:
Total Scans
Shows how many times the QR code has been scanned in total. This helps you understand general reach.
Unique Scans
Counts how many individual users have scanned the code, filtering out repeat scans from the same device.
Scan Trends
Visual charts display when the scans occurred—day by day or hour by hour. This lets you see spikes in activity, such as after a campaign launch or social media post.
Geographic Data
Breakdown of where your scans are coming from, organised by country, region, or city. This is useful for location-based targeting and event tracking.
Device Types
See which types of devices are scanning your QR code—phones, tablets, or desktops. You can also view breakdowns by operating system (iOS, Android, etc.).
Time of Day
Understand what times your audience is most active. This helps adjust your marketing or posting schedule.
Conversion Rates
If the QR code leads to a trackable action (like a click, purchase, or signup), conversion metrics show how many scans led to those outcomes.
Why It Matters
Analysing this data helps you answer key questions like:
