What is a deep link?
A deep link is a smart link that opens content directly inside a native mobile app instead of a web browser. Linkx detects the device and routes users to the right app, with a fallback to the web or app store.
Do I need to write any code?
No. You paste a normal URL, and Linkx builds the smart link for you with app routing, analytics, and optional retargeting pixels — no development required.
What happens if the app is not installed?
Linkx falls back gracefully: it sends the user to the app store to install, or opens the web version, so no click is ever wasted.
Can I track clicks?
Yes. Every link includes analytics — clicks, devices, countries, and app-open rates — in your dashboard.
Will my affiliate tag be preserved?
Yes. Your Amazon Associates tag is carried through every redirect and app open. With optional localize enabled, Linkx applies your per-marketplace tags from Settings (or per-link overrides) so the correct Associates tag is used for each Amazon storefront.
Can Linkx open the local Amazon store for each visitor?
Optionally. Turn on “Localize Amazon store by visitor country” on a link, configure marketplace tags in Settings, and Linkx will rewrite the storefront (same product ASIN) for supported countries. If a marketplace has no tag configured, the original store is kept so commissions are not lost.
