How do I manage my CTA overlays?

Managing Your CTA Overlays

Once you’ve created a few overlays, keeping them organised and up to date is important, especially if you're running multiple campaigns or using different messages for different audiences. The CTA Overlays section in your dashboard gives you full control over every overlay you’ve made.

 

1. View All Your Overlays

Head to the CTA Overlays section in your dashboard. You'll see a list of all active and inactive overlays, including their types (e.g., message, form, coupon), creation dates, and current assignment status.

 

2. What You Can Do with Each Overlay

From the overlay list, you can take direct actions:

  • Edit Content and Settings
    Open the editor to update the message, layout, form fields, or visuals. You can also change the overlay type or styling if needed.

  • Preview the Overlay
    Before assigning or reusing an overlay, click to preview it as your visitors would see it. This ensures everything looks right and functions as expected.

  • Delete Overlay
    Remove any overlays you no longer need. This helps keep your workspace clean and prevents old content from being used by mistake.

  • Assign to Specific URLs
    Link your overlay to a short URL. When someone clicks that short link, the overlay will appear before they reach the final destination. You can assign one overlay to multiple links or create unique overlays for each campaign.
